Mr. Brimmer:

Thank you for posting your thoughtful question. A few specific questions need to be answered and a physical examination done in order to determine if your symptoms are related to the gallbladder. If so, then an ultrasound test will be needed to confirm.....

I advise that you consult with your primary care physician (PCP) first who will then refer you to a general surgeon, if necessary.

Please make an appointment as soon as possible before the condition becomes more serious.

Best regards,
Dr. Seun Sowemimo

Hi Doc I actually have a question, I have been having pains near my gal bladder it actually feels swollen but the most of my concerns is that i feel something gushing around in there when i feel the pain I kinda stick a few fingers under my rib cage to move what it feels like is blocking the area and I feel something gushy or what may feel like tiny stones and now im getting sharp pains thru my stomach occasionally and its the worst i notice when i wake up in the a.m it feels very swollen so my question is does that sound like gal bladder problems? Because i do eat fast food a lot and drink mainly pop. And also can that cause lymph nodes to swell up??? Thanks a lot email with answers please and I can get this taking care of thanks so much
